JOB SUMMARYThe Shopify Web Developer (Ecommerce Team) is responsible for the practical application of design, assembling promotional and content emails, product pages, and other assets on the uaudio.com website. Best-practice development and design methods will be utilized to ensure timely completion of various online marketing initiatives while working on multiple date-driven projects in weekly Sprints.
The ideal candidate will have excellent HTML, CSS, Liquid and JavaScript chops, an eye for design detail, and experience integrating various front-end web technologies.
Responsibilities:- Reporting to the Web Development Manager, work with Creative and Copy teams to produce visually appealing web pages and emails based on design mock-ups.
- Work closely with Email Marketing Manager, Project Manager, and other members of the Development Team to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Assemble Product and CMS Pages in Shopify.
- Building standards compliant emails in the Drip email system.
- Troubleshoot front-end related issues on the UA website(s).
- Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays.
Required Skills:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or at least five years' experience in front-end web development.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in common web languages: HTML, CSS, Liquid and JavaScript.
- Ability to accurately scope and estimate work.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience partnering with back-end development teams is a plus.
Nice to Have:- Experience working with a marketing team.
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- An interest in music or the music industry is a plus.
