Join Our Team as a Shop Technician at Epiroc!This role focuses on managing and shaping our workshop into highly safe and effective environment in which to create prototype battery-electric vehicles.

Responsibilities:- Pull electrical permits, complete work to code, and communicate with electrical inspectors
- Create reports for new electrical installs, repairs, and upgrades
- Work with high voltage & high current equipment and associated control systems
- Design and implement circuit protection, power distribution modules, relays, sensors, and actuators.
- Work with inverters, motors, converters, and general electrical components such as contactors, relays, and batteries.
- Work with control systems such as PLC, DCS, etc.
- Create detailed wiring schematics and diagrams
- Mathematical calculations, problem-solving. General system troubleshooting
- Programing and trouble shooting PLCs
- Arc flash training, calculations, oversight
- Welding, machining, fabricating work
- Microgrid design, development and oversight
- Oversee health and safety in the shop
Knowledge/Education:- Valid BC electrical ticket
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial electrician experience
