Position Overview:
Service Supervisor - Shop Operations

We're building scaling, and operating at a pace unmatched in the industry - and our service teams play a critical role in sustaining that momentum. As a Service Supervisor, you own the daily operational performance of the shop. You will drive productivity, eliminate inefficiencies, and ensure every repair meets Finning's standards for velocity, quality, and safety.

Job Description:
  • Lead and develop a high-output technician team focused on safety, velocity, and quality.
  • Manage all shop operations: workload assignment, bay flow, parts readiness, and final QC.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Use data to drive decisions - productivity, rework and throughput.
  • Execute Lean practices to standardize work, reduce waste, and increase velocity.
  • Maintain an uncompromising safety and quality standard across every repair.


Requirements
  • 5+ years leading teams in service, manufacturing, or equipment operations.
  • Strong technical foundation in mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performance teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Data-driven decision making, strong communication, and the ability to prioritize instantly.


This position is located at Mildred Lake and is a 14 x 14 rotating continuous Dayshift and Nightshift
