Base Salary:$108,000 - $116,000 per year
Work Arrangement:On-site
Schedule:Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime asrequired
What You'll Do- Oversee daily shop operations, workflow scheduling, and coordination of tradespeople to meet operational requirements.
- Assign work andallocateresources tooptimizeproductivity and equipment turnaround times.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and technical support to technicians and apprentices.
- Perform in-process and post-repair inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with standards.
- Enforce company policies, safe work practices, OHSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and support the completion of work orders, service quotes, warranty documentation, and technical reports.
- Resolve service-related issues and communicate repair solutions with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate activities with lead hands, welders, subcontractors, and field service teams asrequired.
- Support employee training, performance development, and cross-training opportunities.
- Participate in incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You BringYou bring
2+ years of supervisory experienceand
5+ years of heavy equipment industry experience,along with strong technical knowledge of Komatsu and other OEM equipment. You are a safety-focused leader who can effectively support technicians, manage shop operations, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of OH&S legislation, safety management systems, and inspection requirements.
- Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage shop resources effectively.
- Strong communicationand problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to make sound decisions independently.
- Commitment to developing team members through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support.
