Location: Philadelphia, PA

What You'll Be Doing:

This role requires strong leadership and management to ensure top performance in maintenance, subcontract management, and safety. Responsibilities include developing and implementing cost-effective processes, accurate estimating and cost control, and timely project execution. The manager will oversee planning, coordination, and supervision of all maintenance tasks, including ship movement, deactivation, preservation, and reactivation, while ensuring compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations, and physical security standards. Key duties involve budget and schedule management, weekly performance updates to the Project Manager, and maintaining strong interdepartmental and customer relationships. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, employee engagement, training, and adherence to company policies and core values. Additional responsibilities include discipline enforcement, mentoring, effective communication, and professional representation of the company with all stakeholders. Travel, including international, may be required.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:
  • A four (4) year college degree with at least three (3) years managerial experience in ship maintenance related activities OR 10 years or ship maintenance related experience with at least five (5) years of which was involved in managerial responsibilities
  • Must have a valid state driver's license and be qualified to operate government/company vehicles in accordance with the Corporate Vehicle Safety Manual.
  • Requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
