Position Summary: $35-$42/hr.The Shipping and Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing all inbound and outbound logistics activities within a mid-sized aerospace manufacturing company. This role ensures that materials, components, and finished products are received, stored, and shipped accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and aerospace industry standards. The manager supervises warehouse personnel, maintains inventory accuracy, and coordinates with production, purchasing, and customer service to ensure timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities- Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate and timely movement of materials and finished goods.
- Supervise and lead shipping, receiving, and warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure incoming materials are properly inspected, documented, and entered into inventory systems.
- Oversee packaging, labeling, and shipping processes to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service to support production schedules and customer delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate shipping records, bills of lading, and documentation required for domestic and international shipments.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and company procedures.
- Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Ensure warehouse organization, material handling procedures, and storage practices maintain product integrity and traceability.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate logistics documentation and records.
- Enforce workplace safety procedures and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
