We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to lead our Fire Watch Tank Watch Program in direct support of the U.S. Navy's ship repair and maintenance operations. The Program Manager will oversee fire watch and tank watch personnel across shipyards, ensure strict adherence to Navy safety protocols, and serve as the primary liaison between company leadership and naval shipyard officials. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Manage Project Manager, Supervisors, and employee's assignments to training, ships, shifts of work, discipline, safety, rewards, promotion, attendance, time off, and work performance.
  • Ensure daily onboard counts of mechanics are reported to the NNSY Designated Representative
  • Provide overall management, oversight, and supervision to effectively and safely manage the work
  • Ensure overall management of accurate tracking of hours worked by contractor personnel, Supervisors, and Project Manager
  • Ensure that all training records and qualifications are reported in a timely manner

Qualifications:
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Supervisor overseeing repair and maintenance work onboard U.S. Navy ships
  • High school diploma and/or successful completion of a related trade or industrial school
  • US Citizenship and an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
  • Proven experience managing fire watch, tank watch or industrial touch labor teams in a Navy or maritime environment.
  • Strong understanding of NAVSjob posting EA Standard Items, fire prevention protocols, and confined space entry requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, personnel deployment, and contract performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
