This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems.

Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is looking for a SharePoint Content Administrator to join our team. This role will be in support of the Security and Counterintelligence Directorate with technical expertise, program security and IT policies or procedures. This role will also be working with IT SMEs to troubleshoot, assess, and resolve issues across a globally dispersed IT enterprise. systems.

This role is located in Springfield, VA and does require 100% onsite work.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for content management, configuring and customizing the SharePoint and Intranet sites in accordance with local IT policy, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, providing technical support.
  • Provides first-look Security system administration, account and report creation, maintenance of security permissions, auditing, and troubleshooting on various systems to include SIMS ePAR, and ServiceNow.
  • Will also assist the on-site expert with facility monitoring systems such as facility alarm systems, badge systems access control, video surveillance.
  • Managing Microsoft and third-party application software installation, configuration, life cycle management, and inventory.
  • Develop and manage workflows using SharePoint Designer or other tools to automate business processes
  • Organize and manage content on SharePoint Sites
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them to technical solutions.


Minimum Qualifications

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.

TS/SCI clearance required at time of hire with ability to obtain CI Poly.

Familiar with SharePoint Designer

Experience with database management

3 years ofexperience building and implementing solutions using developer such as SharePoint Developer, Infopath, Visual Studio, or similar soflware.

Collecting and delivering customer requiwuents as SharePoint solutions

Conducting online technology and market surveys.

Providing physical and/or telephonic desktop support services to a variety of end users of computing, network, and storage applications.

Independently troubleshooting and resolving system errors, bugs, and configurations on database applications.

Demonstrated experience coding HTML with JavaScript, and utilizing JavaScript libraries, such as JQuery.

Demonstrated experience creating technical documentation and training materials for end users.

Preferred Requirements

  • Demonstratedexperience with one or mole of the following technology areas: facility alerting, access control, video surveillance, or alarm systems.
  • Associate-level technical certification or forrmaI training in Network Administration, System Administration, or related technology areas.
  • Knowledge and/or experience using Microsoft. Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) and Outlook Web Apps (OWA) 10 provide an enterprise platform 10 share and manage content, knowledge, and applications to empower teamworks quickly find information, and be able to collaborate across the organization.
