Health Education Program CoordinatorPosition SummaryThe Health Education Program Coordinator serves as a vital link between clinical services and cancer patients and families. This position leads efforts to increase awareness and utilization of support services through strategic communication, education programming, digital engagement, and patient-centered resource development.
The coordinator will help patients navigate available resources while partnering with clinicians and operational leaders to ensure support services are effectively communicated and accessible throughout the cancer care continuum.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient education and awareness initiatives.
- Create brochures, flyers, digital content, and other educational materials.
- Support social media and digital engagement efforts.
- Promote available oncology support services to patients and families.
- Collaborate across clinical and operational teams to improve patient communication strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced patient engagement.
- Help design innovative approaches to patient navigation and survivorship education.
- Evaluate and improve how patients learn about and access available resources.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Five to seven years of proven success in building programs via an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience in oncology, healthcare, or public health.
- Experience developing educational or communication programs.
- Experience working within a complex or highly matrixed organization.
- Strong digital communication and content development skills.
- Social media engagement experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate specialty is required.
Experience: 2+ years of relevant professional experience required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
The pay range for this role is $66,528.00 - $133,057.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
