Position Description & Qualifications

Looking for a Defensive Drone Technology Evaluator opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? Discover this great opportunity supporting Exercises and Operational Training Infrastructure Division (AF/A35E). Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and readiness of the warfighter in supporting this critical mission.

This position is contingent upon the ability to maintain/transfer an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.

In this role, you will:
  • Serve as a primary evaluator of defensive drone (Counter-UAS) technologies and capabilities on behalf of the Air Force Future Operations Directorate. This critical role bridges military defense strategies, federal airspace regulations, and local law enforcement protocols to ensure the effective implementation of layered counter-drone defenses overseas and within the Continental United States (CONUS).Conducts analytical studies of military, commercial, or civil operations.
  • Provides technical and/or operational support to projects and programs.
  • Follows established modeling and evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities and to determine problem areas and develop solutions.
  • Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization.
  • Is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.
    • A U.S. Citizenship.
  • A Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 10 Years of relevant experience.
  • The ability to travel up to 10%.

Additional desired experience and skills:
  • Master's degree preferred
