Full Job Description
What you'll do:

Oversees the centralized accounts payable ("AP") and accounts receivable ("AR") functions. The SSM is responsible for leading AR / AP analysts and specialists to ensure invoices are processed, received, and paid in accordance with the terms of executed agreements. The SSM should understand and review net working capital to help determine the Company's short-term liquidity needs. They are responsible for effectively communicating internally and externally on all AR / AP issues, including outstanding balances. The SSM is responsible for safeguarding the Company's assets to ensure payments are processed in accordance with the Company's policies.

Location: This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week is required in our Concord, MA office.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the share service organization to be a true service center for each department.
  • Manage AP and AR team, including assigning work tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Timely and effectively communicate internally and externally on any shared service issues.
  • Ensure payments received and paid are processed in accordance with executed agreements.
  • Coordinate with procurement and other departments on Company policies involving purchase orders and payments.
  • Leads month-end close process for AP and AR.
  • Oversee the development of meaningful AP / AR reporting for each department.
  • Coordinate with FP&A to provide real-time reporting on expenses and cash received.
  • Develop Company policies and procedures to mitigate risk of fraud, errors, and ensure compliance with internal controls.

What we're looking for:
  • 5-8 years of combined experience in accounts payable and receivable, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience with D365 and Exflow preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial formulas
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
