Job DescriptionThe Mission- are you ready to shape the future of energy infrastructure? As a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) Service & Upgrade Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of innovation and execution. You will contribute across the end-to-end lifecycle of HRSG upgrades, retrofits, and service solutions for our global fleet. If you thrive on solving complex technical challenges, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering value that directly impacts our customers' bottom line, we want you on our team.
What You Will Do- Architect Solutions: Partner with external and internal customers to understand their unique needs, crafting winning technical proposals for value-added service and upgrade offers.
- Lead Project Delivery: Own the technical delivery of HRSG service projects, coordinating resources to drive project schedules while maintaining rigorous engineering Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards.
- Manage Complexity: Oversee the technical integrity of Bills of Material, part definitions, and procurement requirements.
- Influence & Collaborate: Serve as the primary technical interface between Sales, Commercial, Project Management, Sourcing, and Field teams. Act as the "Voice of the Customer" to our internal engineering organizations.
- Leverage Emerging Tech: Use AI and digital platforms to streamline work, boost productivity, and enhance quality.
- Support Field Execution: Develop Field Modification Instructions and provide critical technical support during installation planning and outage activities. Work with field personnel on installation methodology. Assess and mitigate risks.
- Drive Excellence: Utilize Lean methodology and continuous improvement; manage priorities and deliver on organizational objectives.
What You Will Bring (Basic Qualifications)- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
- 4+ years of relevant engineering experience in power generation or plant technology.
Desired Characteristics- Experience with HRSG, boiler, turbine or generator technology, accessories, controls, or balance of plant.
- Experience with HRSG, boiler, or turbine service, upgrade, or new unit projects.
- Familiarity with HRSG or turbine technology and configurations.
- Experience in Application/Tendering and/or Requisition/Project Engineering.
- Enthusiasm for adopting new technologies, including AI-powered engineering tools, to optimize productivity and process quality.
- Strong track record of delivering on complex challenges across multiple simultaneous projects.
- Proven critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with fluency in additional languages being a plus.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work effectively with global colleagues in a matrixed team environment, and to contribute positively to the team dynamic.
- Self-starter mindset with a positive attitude and a track record of reliability in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
