Job Title ServiceNow SAM Architect

Location: Hartford, CT

Role Summary

LTIMindtree is looking for a ServiceNow SAM CMDB Architect to lead enterprisescale transformations for global clients.

The ideal candidate will be a handson architect with strong consulting skills capable of owning solution architecture governance roadmap and delivery excellence for SAM Pro CMDB and CSDMaligned outcomes

This role partners with client stakeholders program leadership and crossfunctional teams to deliver a highquality single source of truth CMDB and software compliance optimization SAM with measurable business value

Key Responsibilities

1 Architecture Solution Leadership

Own endtoend architecture for ServiceNow SAM Pro CMDB programs across one or more client engagements

Define targetstate architecture covering data model processes integrations security performance and scalability

Translate business objectives into platform design license compliance reclamation cost optimization audit readiness and CMDB trust

Provide architectural governance and design assurance across multiple workstreams ITAM ITOM SecOps ITSM Discovery

2 CMDB Strategy CSDM Alignment Governance

Define CMDB operating model and governance aligned to CSDM concepts ProductsServices Service Portfolio Technical Services Apps Infrastructure

Establish CI class strategy relationship model ownership model naming standards and lifecycle policies

Design and implement CMDB Health and data quality KPI framework completeness correctness compliance

Configure and govern Identification Reconciliation Engine IRE rules CI identification and reconciliation patterns

3 SAM Pro Functional Technical Leadership

Lead SAM Pro capabilities including

oSoftware normalization reconciliation entitlement management

oLicense compliance calculations and effective license position ELP design

oPublisherspecific approaches Microsoft Oracle Adobe IBM SAPbased on client footprint

Define software lifecycle policies request approve deploy reclaim retire

Drive optimization outcomes reharvesting trueup planning unused software reclamation SaaS optimization

4 Integrations Discovery Data Ingestion

Architect integrations and data ingestion with tools such as

oEndpointDiscovery SCCMMECM Intune JAMF Tanium ServiceNow Discovery

oITAM tools Flexera Snow etc as applicable

oCloud AzureAWSGCP inventory feeds as applicable

oERPProcurement SAPOracleAriba etc as applicable

Ensure endtoend data lineage across Asset CMDB SAM and define reconciliation rules

Define data migration approach legacy asset repositories ServiceNow including mapping validation and cutover

5 Consulting Client Stakeholder Management

Lead discovery workshops define requirements conduct fitgap and develop solution options with tradeoffs

Develop and present clientready deliverables architecture diagrams roadmaps governance models and executive decks

Guide clients through maturity journey CMDB Trust SAM maturity and audit readiness

Provide leadership in design reviews solution signoffs and steering committee updates

6 Delivery Excellence Team Leadership

Drive best practices across Agile delivery epicsstories acceptance criteria test strategy and release planning

Mentor developersanalysts enforce technical standards and ensure quality gates code reviews performance security

Collaborate with program leadership on resourcing estimation risk management and delivery governance

Required Skills Experience

ServiceNow Expertise

Strong handson architecture experience with

oSAM Pro

oCMDB CSDM

oServiceNow Discovery highly preferred

oService Mapping exposure good to have

Deep understanding of

oCI taxonomy relationship modeling and CI lifecycle

oIRE identification rules reconciliation logic

oCMDB health audits and continuous improvement

ITAM Licensing Knowledge

Strong understanding of licensing models and optimization approaches

Named user device coreprocessor subscription SaaS concurrent enterprise agreements

Experience supporting audits and compliance reporting publisher and internal audits

Integration Data

Strong integration experience using

oIntegrationHubSpokes APIs MID Server patterns

oETLdata ingestion best practices

Data migration strategy and execution experience in enterprise environments

Consulting Leadership

Proven ability to lead solutioning and clientfacing discussions
