PeopleTec is currently seeking a ServiceNowProduct Ownerto support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is hiring a ServiceNow Product Owner to drive delivery of our ServiceNow platform. This role manages the product backlog, sets priorities across the Business Analyst, Platform Engineer, and third-party development partner, and is the single voice of "what we build next" for stakeholders across engineering, test, and acquisition. You translate platform strategydefined by the customerinto delivered increments and keep the third-party developer aligned to mission priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the ServiceNow product backlog: priorities, sequencing, and acceptance.
  • Define and communicate the platform roadmap aligned to ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SAM, and HAM capability needs.
  • Drive Agile delivery cadence (sprint planning, reviews, demos) with the third-party development partner.
  • Accept user stories on behalf of the customer; ensure delivered work meets acceptance criteria and ITIL alignment.
  • Engage stakeholders across engineering, test, and acquisition to surface needs andvalidatepriorities.
  • Partner with the Business Analyst on catalog and workflow priorities, and with the Platform Engineer on platform and security priorities.
  • Track delivery metrics, throughput, and valuerealized;report to leadership.
  • Manage scope and change requests against the third-party developer's contracted work.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 10-15 years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent delivery role on a software or platform team.
  • Demonstrated experience owning a backlog and driving Agile delivery with internal teams and third-party developers.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM and the ServiceNow platform sufficient to make informed prioritization and acceptance decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, written communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire (or the able to obtain), and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (additionalexperience may substitute).

Desired Skills:

  • Active U.S. DoD SECRET clearance or higher.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO),SAFePOPM, or equivalent.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or familiarity with ServiceNow delivery practices.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience as a Product Owner on a DoD or federal IT modernization program.
  • Background in engineering, test, or acquisition processes.
