Your Role

As the ServiceNow Developer, you will operate as part of an integrated team creating, enhancing, and driving operational needs in our thriving hybrid workplace. Successful ServiceNow Developers demonstrate a high sense of ownership, are self-starters, can skillfully communicate, collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritize support tasks and business needs, promote excellent customer service through empathy, and possess a vast range of technical knowledge.

**This position will be based on-site 5 days a week**

What You Will Do
  • Maintain, update, and enhance the ServiceNow ITSM environment, including incident management, request management, problem management, change management, knowledge management, service catalog, and self-service portals.
  • Manage ServiceNow environment, enhancement requests, and incidents. Manages connections between other systems with front-end and back-end development. Create, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and custom views, utilizing applications such as Platform Analytics. Manage Update Set creation and migration. Schedule and verify instance clones.
  • Perform integration and support of operational services, update and maintain agile, streamlined, scalable, and optimized ServiceNow system components.
  • Assess new releases and provide direction regarding the adoption of new features. Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications using in-platform tools.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adherence to Gensler IT Governance and Security policies. Adhere to all software licensing restrictions.
  • Drive critical discussions on functional process changes, and present findings and key metrics in formal presentations with business counterparts.
  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs
  • Configure notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, and other settings.
  • Lead and oversee the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for ServiceNow at Gensler, utilizing both native ServiceNow functionalities and third-party tools.
  • Develop custom ServiceNow applications for automating business-critical processes.


Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or similar) plus a minimum of 3 years of IT-related experience, or an Associate degree with 5 years of IT-related experience
  • 2+ years of ServiceNow System Administration with the following ServiceNow Certifications:
    • ServiceNow Certified System Administration (CSA)
    • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus
  • ITILv3 or v4 Foundations Certification, or you can demonstrate your understanding of the foundation-level ITIL framework.
  • Strong skills with scripting in PowerShell, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, custom REST API building, and integration with third-party services.
  • Experience working in an Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) environment

**if this position is located in Los Angeles, CA the base salary is estimated between $85kk-$95k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.

**if this position is located in Dallas, TX the base salary is estimated between $80k-$85k plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
