Full Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking multiple experienced, outcome-driven ServiceNow Developers, one in our Fairfax, VA office in a hybrid capacity and another onsite at JIATF-S - Naval Air Station Key West (Truman Annex) Key West, FL. to support U.S. Government Mission Partner Enclaves and enterprise IT modernization efforts. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing the ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on workflow automation, platform customization, and business process improvement.

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for guiding governance discussions, gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements, and proposing scalable technical solutions that enhance end-user support, ticketing, auditing, and business process automation within an existing Azure tenant-based environment. Working closely with government stakeholders, program leadership, and engineering teams, this individual will design and customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalogs, and applications that improve operational efficiency and modernize service delivery.

The successful candidate will leverage ServiceNow's low-code/no-code capabilities, Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, JavaScript, and platform development tools to automate business processes and deliver scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable engaging with customers to understand business challenges as they are developing custom workflows, building applications, integrating enterprise systems, and delivering innovative solutions that improve the user experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Integrate with, and support, a team of subject matter experts in a highly agile environment to implement best in class multi-Cloud solutions for large DoD program(s).
  • Design and implement automated workflows.
  • Develop:
    • Custom ServiceNow applications, forms, catalogs, and approval processes.
    • Tools and scripts to automate deployment, troubleshooting, monitoring, and diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvement.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and performance analytics that provide operational insight.
  • Ensure the effective safeguarding and sharing of enterprise data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with custom applications, workflows, integrations, and automation.
  • Recommend new platform capabilities and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Salary Range: $120,000-150,000

  • Certified DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher (Security+ or CISSP preferred); active or obtained within 60 calendar days of hire.
  • Ability to support either location:
    • Up to 3 business days per week onsite at Everforth ECS Corporate offices located in Fairfax, VA
    • Onsite at JIATF-S - Naval Air Station Key West (Truman Annex) Key West, FL.
  • Ability to travel (potentially up to 20%) to CONUS / OCONUS locations multiple times over the lifespan of the program.
  • 5+ years of progressive, hands-on experience supporting ServiceNow and/or similar SaaS tools.
  • Strong experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow workflows using: Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Service Catalog, Notifications, ACLs, etc.
  • Experience administering ITSM modules including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Strong JavaScript experience; TypeScript experience is a plus.
  • Experience developing REST API integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management).
