AnaVation is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team and support our mission critical Government customer in Hanover, MD. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain robust ServiceNow applications and workflows supporting enterprise operations, including workflow and workload management, reporting and analytics, and system integrations. As a key technical contributor, you will work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, data engineers, and architects to translate mission requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions. Due to the nature of the work performed, candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of security controls within a federal enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, and workload management solutions using JavaScript, including reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Implement enhancements to existing ServiceNow functionality.
- Develop and support REST/SOAP API integrations using JSON and XML.
- Serve as Tier 3 support to troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, and integration issues.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Support data validation, transformation, and migration activities.
Required Qualifications:Clearance: Top Secret Clearance
Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of ServiceNow development experience
Certifications: IAT II (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)
Experience and knowledge on:- Experience developing applications using JavaScript.
- Experience with ServiceNow workflows, scripting, and platform configuration.
- Experience developing and supporting REST/SOAP APIs and working with JSON/XML data formats.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
- Experience with relational databases and data modeling concepts.
- Experience working in SAFe Agile software development environments.
- Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
Desired Qualifications:Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI
Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of ServiceNow development experience
Certifications: IAT II (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent) , Certifications in ServiceNow Certified Applications Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent, AWS, Azure, and/or SAFe Agile
Experience and knowledge on:- Experience as a ServiceNow Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions, integrations, and platform architecture.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Asset Management, HRSD, or SecOps.
