Ford-Certified Automotive Technicians
Flat-Rate Pay Up to $50 Per Hour

Tallahassee Ford is growing, and strong customer demand has created an immediate need to expand our service team. We are seeking experienced Ford-certified automotive technicians who take pride in their work, possess strong diagnostic abilities, and are committed to performing quality repairs efficiently.

Compensation is flat rate, up to $50 per hour based on Ford certifications.

Our Facility

Work in a modern, well-equipped service environment featuring:
  • Air-conditioned shop

  • Manufacturer-specific diagnostic equipment
Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership and Ford standards
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
  • Perform warranty repairs according to Ford procedures and specifications
  • Communicate diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and estimated completion times clearly to the Service Advisor
  • Document all findings, repairs, and required information accurately
  • Ensure repairs are completed correctly and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all dealership policies and applicable safety regulations
Qualifications
  • At least two years of automotive service technician experience preferred
  • Ford certification required
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Previous Ford dealership experience preferred
  • B-level or higher qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair experience
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to continued professional development
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
