  • Balance technical mastery with excellent customer service experiences.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of GEA's Conventional & Robotic Milking Systems.
  • Support equipment installations and startup processes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Create customized customer care service packages for milking systems to improve satisfaction.
  • Provide dealer support and assist with product knowledge transfer and installations.
  • Act as a communication link between dealers and GEA for smoother collaboration.
  • Participate in industry meetings to stay updated on trends and advancements.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Address dairy customers' needs by proficiently troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing a range of dairy equipment.


  • Diagnose and resolve issues with dairy equipment efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.


  • Serve as a motivated self-starter, adept at independent work while contributing effectively within a team environment.


  • Mentor and train Level 1 technicians, sharing expertise to enhance their skills and knowledge.


  • Strike a balance between technical mastery and delivering exceptional customer service experiences.


  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of GEA Conventional & Robotic Milking Systems.


  • Support dealers with equipment installations and startup processes, ensuring seamless operations.


  • Develop tailored customer care service packages for milking systems, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction.


  • Provide robust assistance for dealer support, product knowledge transfer, and installations.


  • Act as a liaison between dealers and GEA, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.


  • Collaborate actively with the team to drive product improvement initiatives.


  • Maintain transparent communication through regular reports and updates for stakeholders.


  • Participate in industry meetings to stay updated on trends and advancements.


  • Efficiently manage inventory with dealers where applicable.


  • Resolve customer service issues promptly and effectively.


  • Master the use of Dairy Plan/ Dairy Net


Your Profile / Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or GED


  • 3-5 years of extensive experience in Dairy or Agricultural operations.


  • Possess required product knowledge and training to align company goals with customer needs.


  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, guiding and supporting team members effectively.


  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for seamless customer interactions.


  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, ensuring clear and effective information exchange.


  • Collaborative team player mindset, fostering a cohesive work environment.


  • Proficiency in computer applications like Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (75-85% of the time).


The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $35 - $42 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
