Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As a Service Supervisor, you’ll lead shop operations and ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient service delivery:
- Supervise and support a team of service technicians
- Assign and monitor work to ensure productivity and quality goals are met
- Coach and develop technicians through training, feedback, and performance management
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate workflow with service advisors, parts, and management
- Monitor job progress, timelines, and customer expectations
- Support troubleshooting and technical guidance when needed
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
- Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Experience in heavy equipment service, preferably in a shop environment
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or lead technician experience
- Strong technical knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and machine systems
- Proven ability to manage and develop people
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and service software
