Hitachi Energy is seeking a
Service Sales Leader, Data Centers to drive profitable growth, strategic customer engagement, and commercial excellence across
North America.In this highly visible leadership role, you will shape and execute the service growth strategy for the Data Center segment, partnering with Regional Service Sales Managers, Global Account teams, Product Groups, Service Operations, and executive customer stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in helping some of the world's largest hyperscale, colocation, cloud, enterprise, and AI-driven data center operators maximize reliability, resilience, uptime, and long-term asset performance.
As the commercial leader for the Data Center service business, you will transform market opportunities, installed-base insights, and customer priorities into sustainable growth, long-term service partnerships, and innovative lifecycle solutions. You will influence executive-level customer discussions, lead strategic pursuits, develop high-performing sales talent, and champion digital solutions, modernization programs, and service agreements that deliver measurable value.

How You'll Make an Impact- Lead and execute the North America Data Center service segment strategy, growth plans, and commercial objectives.
- Drive pipeline generation, order intake, revenue growth, profitability, and strategic account penetration.
- Translate global Data Center priorities into actionable regional and country-level growth plans.
- Identify and develop opportunities that improve customer reliability, resilience, safety, availability, and asset performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop Regional Service Sales Managers to achieve exceptional business results.
- Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with strategic customers and industry stakeholders.
- Support major pursuits, negotiations, framework agreements, and long-term service partnerships.
- Champion lifecycle service agreements, modernization programs, predictive maintenance, HMAX offerings, and digital solutions.
- Utilize installed-base intelligence, customer insights, and market trends to create targeted growth opportunities.
- Drive forecast accuracy, pipeline quality, commercial discipline, and CRM excellence.
- Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product Groups, Digital, Finance, and Global Account teams to deliver customer value.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centric execution.
Your Background- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in service sales, strategic account management, commercial leadership, or related roles.
- Proven success leading sales teams and delivering profitable growth in complex industrial, energy, infrastructure, technology, or Data Center markets.
- Strong understanding of Data Center environments, mission-critical facilities, lifecycle services, and power infrastructure solutions.
- Experience developing and converting complex service opportunities involving executive customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of electrical infrastructure, transformers, substations, high-voltage systems, digital solutions, modernization, and asset performance services.
- Experience managing CRM processes, pipeline development, forecasting, commercial governance, and business performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
