Full Job Description
This Service Process Engineer is a key contributor in the development and improvement of processes for production, calibration, and test of circuits and instruments in a complex, low-volume Service environment. This role will use their manufacturing and process expertise to develop reliable solutions that meet aggressive development and production schedules. The successful candidate will work closely with peers, production assemblers/technicians, test engineers, design teams, and management to develop processes that meet the business needs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ownership of the design, layout, and order of operations of one or more Service cells.


  • Creating and updating Standard Work, Work Instructions, Routings, and Capacity Analysis.


  • Drive and manage projects to improve quality and process throughput.


  • Investigate, determine root cause, and putting corrective action in place for quality issues.


  • Managing the impact of product changes on the production process.


  • Lead a cross functional team to quickly address line down and other major quality issues.


Qualification:

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.


  • +3 years of applicable experience.


  • Strong electrical background/interest preferred.


  • Strong data analysis background/interest preferred.


  • Lean and Six Sigma background/interest preferred.


  • Structured problem solving background/interest preferred.


  • Curious, active learner.


  • Strong people skills. Strong verbal and written communication.


  • Capable of seeking out problems and developing solutions.


  • Must be comfortable with changing priorities and interruptions.


  • Must be able to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred Skills:

  • CAD component and assembly design


  • 3D Printing


  • Lite Coding (Familiarity with languages like Python, VBA, DAX, SQL, and even Excel formula syntax)


  • Power BI/Microsoft 365 suite


  • Electronics systems design can be a great tool in this role (Arduino or raspberry pi experience)


  • Standard work and reference material documentation skills


  • Some visual/digital design experience is a plus


  • Experience in creating training videos is a plus


  • Good verbal and written communications skills are essential


  • Metrology proficiency

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81,190.00 - 135,585.00
