Service Operations Specialist, Factory Assembled EnclosuresThe Digital Power organization is looking for a Service Specialist to support the manufacturing and logistics team, otherwise known as Factory Assembled Enclosures (FAE), in data/program coordination task requirements.
What will you do?Order Processing that includes the following actions:
- Order Processing. This includes updating Progress Points.
- Send Submittal Approval Request of design draft and processing.
- Processing Submittal Approvals received.
- Will evaluate customer enclosure orders for validity and will communicate with sales and customers for clarification and finalize all details associated with custom orders.
- Respond to email requests through acknowledgement. Answers requests for delivery commitments from Field Office representatives, account managers, project managers and other stakeholders for each prospective order as needed.
- Process packing slips and ensure correct shipping addresses are in SAP/S4.
- Update ESPS with notes - detail should be able to give the complete story on order progression.
- Track and report Expedite requests per process.
- Direct new inquiries/questions to the correct contact within the team.
- Manage EMK kits orders. Ensure parts are ordered and stocked. Provide a weekly report on orders status.
- Manage backlog in ESPS & Update dates in SAP/S4.
- Aid in expediting order requests, preordering raw materials to reduce lead time and working with DE for drawings.
- Will be the Operations Liaison to the Design Engineering group.
- Will work with Planning Team to communicate the production schedule of custom enclosures at 3rd party production facilities.
- Communicates and expedites with our Order Services Department regarding component shortages.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?- Candidate will need 5+ years' experience in high paced manufacturing/warehouse environment (previous SE experience is a plus).
- Management and lean manufacturing experience is preferred but not a requirement.
- Continual improvement process experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP and costing systems.
- Intermediate to strong MS Excel skills for data analysis.
- Ability to work hybrid work schedule with the requirement to work onsite in Smyrna, TN weekly during regular business hours.
- Ability to lift heavy items (35 lbs) as required and perform other physical work.
- Must be capable of working independently using initiative and problems solving skills.
- Order, maintain, organize, and issue inventory of approved supplies and company equipment.
- Ability to positively interact with internal stakeholders in a sometimes-stressful environment.
- Proactive and innovative thinking to resolve complicated problems.
- Openness to frequent process changes and an ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Very strong verbal and written skills.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.
