Lead Operations for a Growing Home Comfort Company

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Service Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day operations, support our field teams, and help drive operational excellence.

What You'll Do:

As the Service Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the business to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage technician scheduling, dispatch, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee inventory, fleet, equipment, and warehouse operations to ensure job readiness.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Installation, and Service teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on operational KPIs, productivity metrics, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Manage operational budgets, purchasing, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop employees while fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture.
  • Prepare operational reports and recommendations for senior leadership to support business growth.


Qualifications:

We're looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years of Operations Management experience, preferably within HVAC, construction, home services, field service, facilities management, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams in a fast-paced service or operations environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Experience managing scheduling, dispatch, logistics, or field service operations.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience using CRM, dispatch, or field service management software (Jobber experience is an asset).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
