QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor s Degree in nursing; Master s Degree in Nursing or other healthcare related discipline preferred. License/Certifications: NYS RN License is required; certification in clinical specialty area preferred. Experience: At least 3 years in an emergency and/or critical care setting managing hemodynamically unstable patients; sepsis patients (actual and suspected) and patients with neurological deficits and stroke symptoms or diagnosis. Responsible to: Vice President of Operations and Quality with Matrix reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer Responsible for: No direct reports SUMMARY: The CMH Sepsis and Stroke Coordinator will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating sepsis and stroke care in the organization. Responsible for assuring compliance with Stroke and Sepsis regulatory requirements. The Sepsis/Stroke Coordinator will be a champion for improving stroke and sepsis care and pay a vital role in reducing mortality and improve patient outcomes. Salary Range: $46.35 - $64.89
