Sensor Analysis Manager

Job Summary

As Sensor Analysis Manager, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to the Army's Integrated Air and Missile Defense mission. You will lead a team of analysts responsible for evaluating Radar/Guidance system performance data from Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulation Exercises, and Real-World Events and producing system assessments. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail who enjoys a challenge and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Additionally, this position requires effective collaboration and communication skills. This job is seeking a motivated individual with leadership skills who can proactively identify and solve complex technical and business challenges. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the radar(s) including requirements and operations, focusing on radar search, track, electronic counter measures, discrimination and missile guidance functions
  • Define metrics, analyze data, and assess system performance
  • Provide direct support to the Warfighter by responding to Requests for Information including analyzing Real-World data and collaborating with the team to provide recommendations for enhanced performance
  • Support test events (Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulation Exercises) by defining requirements and objectives, observing/executing tests, analyzing test data, and contributing to test reports
  • Prepare and present briefings to various audiences, including USG, Warfighters, and high levels of leadership
  • Review and track software changes and system requirements
  • Provide technical and task guidance to a team of Radar/Guidance analysts
  • May participate in the development of technical proposals for new and/or existing business opportunities


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or related STEM field
  • 7-15 years of experience in Radar or Guidance analysis for a Missile Defense System
  • Demonstrable understanding of Radar signal and data processing methods
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen
  • Candidate must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance


Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in a high-level programming language (MATLAB, C/C++, Python, etc.)
  • Demonstrable leadership and management skills
  • Advanced degree in engineering, physics, or related STEM field
  • Experience in interface analysis for a major Missile Defense System, including Live Firings, Ground Tests, Simulation Exercises, Real-World data
