OverviewPositionThe Senior Wholesale Business Analyst supports the Vice President of Wholesale in driving the commercial performance of Moncler's wholesale business across the Americas. Serving as a central analytical resource for the Wholesale organization, this role provides business insights, reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, and operational support to enable informed decision-making across the function.
Working cross-functionally with key stakeholders, the Senior Wholesale Business Analyst evaluates performance, identifies commercial opportunities and risks, supports inventory productivity, and develops actionable recommendations that contribute to sustainable growth across the wholesale channel.
This role also supports Wholesale leadership through executive reporting, seasonal market preparation, business reviews, and continuous improvement of reporting tools and analytical processes.

Your ImpactBusiness Performance & Analytics- Analyze wholesale performance across customers, regions, product categories, channels, and seasons to identify risks, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Develop and distribute recurring dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and business reports for Wholesale leadership.
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting, including sales-to-stock, sell-through, inventory productivity, style and classification performance, account performance, and executive business recaps.
- Monitor results against budget, forecast, and prior year, highlighting opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and inventory productivity.
- Conduct financial and ad hoc analysis of wholesale initiatives, commercial opportunities, and business models, and provide recommendations to leadership.
Forecasting & Planning Support- Support seasonal forecasting of sales, inventory targets, receipt flow, and product performance by customer, category, and classification.
- Partner with Planning and Merchandising to maximize sell-through and improve inventory productivity.
- Monitor in-season performance and recommend actions to address business opportunities and risks.
- Identify replenishment and reassortment opportunities across wholesale accounts.
- Support forecast accuracy through ongoing analysis of trends, performance, and market activity.
Customer & Market Analysis- Evaluate account productivity, profitability, and growth opportunities across the wholesale portfolio.
- Conduct sell-out analysis by account, category, and product.
- Analyze customer buying behavior, assortment productivity, and seasonal performance.
- Prepare business reviews and performance recaps for key wholesale partners.
- Monitor regional market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to support commercial strategy.
Reporting & Executive Presentations- Develop executive-ready reporting packages for Americas leadership and Global Headquarters.
- Create presentations for seasonal markets, business reviews, budgets, strategic initiatives, and executive meetings.
- Consolidate information from multiple functions into clear, concise, and actionable business narratives.
- Maintain the consistency, accuracy, and integrity of wholesale reporting.
Cross-Functional Partnership- Collaborate with Global Headquarters Merchandising on regional performance, product opportunities, assortment insights, and seasonal recaps.
- Partner with Logistics and Customer Service to support inventory flow, order fulfillment, and service levels.
- Provide Sales Managers with customer-specific reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
- Support seasonal market appointments through business preparation, reporting, and post-market analysis.
- Assist with wholesale client requests requiring analytical or operational support.
Process Improvement & Business Intelligence- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, strengthen dashboards, and streamline analytical processes.
- Improve data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and access to business intelligence.
- Support the implementation of new systems, reporting technologies, and analytical tools.
- Leverage technology to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness across the Wholesale organization.

QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Work Experience- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, planning, merchandising, wholesale operations, or commercial analytics.
- Experience within luxury retail, fashion, wholesale, or consumer goods preferred.
Core Skills and Attributes- Strong financial, analytical, and commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the development of executive-level analyses and presentations.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong aptitude for leveraging technology, reporting tools, and automation to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities, develop solutions, and support strategic business decision-making.
Travel - Travel may be required as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
For positions based in New York, Moncler provides a good faith estimate of the salary range for the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including business needs, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, and certifications. The current estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 year.
In addition to competitive pay, the hired candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid parental leave, 11 paid holidays, accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation time, 2 personal days, 2 community service days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
This position requires an on-site presence of four days per week at the Moncler Corporate Office, located in SoHo, New York.
