We are currently seeking a Senior Web and Digital Interface Designer located in the Washington, D.C. area.
What you'll do:
The Senior Web and Digital Interface Designer will provide data analytics support to a U.S. Navy program office.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and test layouts, interfaces (including ones which facilitate human-computer interaction), functionality, and navigation menus to ensure compatibility and usability across browsers or devices, with a focus on aesthetics and design.
- Use web framework applications as well as the Government's code and processes
- Evaluate web design following web and accessibility standards and analyze web use metrics and optimize websites for marketability and search engine ranking.
- Create and modify graphics used in websites; manage website content and links
- Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
- Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
- Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
- Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation
- Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items
- Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations
- Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience providing data analytics support to U.S. Navy program offices
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in math, science, engineering, or related field from an institution accredited in the United States
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
