THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Strategic Growth & Entertainment Practice for our Pacific Region Personal Insurance Practice, reporting directly to the Personal Lines President. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic growth across the Pacific Region, building and expanding our ultra-high-net-worth and family office practice, and providing direct leadership of our Entertainment Personal Lines Practice.
A senior ambassador for HUB across the Pacific Region, this individual brings deep relationships within the UHNW, family office, and entertainment insurance communities and activates those relationships to generate new business, deepen existing partnerships, and elevate HUB's presence across California, Washington, and Oregon. This role operates at the intersection of practice leadership, relationship development, and regional strategy - bringing HUB's full capabilities to bear in the markets and client communities where growth matters most.
The successful candidate will partner closely with the Personal Lines President and participate actively on the California Executive Management Team to contribute to regional strategy, culture, and business planning across lines of business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Entertainment Personal Lines Practice Leadership
- Provide direct leadership and strategic oversight of the Entertainment Personal Lines Practice, including account managers and service staff
- Partner closely with Entertainment Personal Lines producers on strategy, client engagement, and market development; producers maintain a separate reporting relationship within the Personal Lines structure
- Drive growth and retention of the Entertainment Practice through mentorship, training, and competency development of the team; implement proactive client retention strategies including early renewal engagement and ongoing coverage reviews to protect and deepen the entertainment book
- Ensure the Account Management team delivers top-level performance on day-to-day responsibilities, including underwriting evaluation, client program analysis, forecasting, and client reporting
- Ensure Account Managers provide strategic support and direction to high-net-worth entertainment clients, including short and long-term planning and overall consulting strategy
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Business Managers as a primary referral and retention channel; engage attorneys, CPAs, and other advisors within the entertainment ecosystem to drive new business and deepen client loyalty
- Maintain and deepen carrier relationships critical to the entertainment insurance marketplace; advocate for capacity and preferred access on behalf of HUB clients
Family Office & UHNW Practice Development
- Serve as HUB's primary relationship leader and practice-builder for the family office and ultra-high-net-worth segment across the Pacific Region, representing the firm at the highest levels of client and advisor engagement
- Foster and drive institutional sales relationships with family offices, private wealth managers, estate planning attorneys, accounting firms, wire houses including Morgan Stanley, RIA networks including Focus Financial, and other trusted advisors and professional services partners to build a sustained referral network across California, Washington, and Oregon; maintain a structured COI engagement cadence with activity documented in Core/Epic
- Develop and execute a regional strategy to expand HUB's family office book across the Pacific Region; map known family offices across CA and PNW and identify those without entrenched personal lines relationships
- Represent HUB within family office networks, UHNW associations including FOX Family Office Exchange and PRMA, and wealth management communities across the Pacific Region to elevate brand presence and generate new business
- Build a Family Office Service Standard distinct from individual high-net-worth: institutional reporting, multi-generational policy architecture, and a dedicated client team experience
Strategic Growth & Sales Enablement
- Work alongside and in close partnership with HUB's Institutional Director, Private Client to leverage national business partner relationships, support the sourcing and onboarding of new institutional partnerships, and bring a systemized approach to how business partners engage with HUB across the Pacific Region
- Collaborate closely with California Cross-Sell Officers to identify opportunities within their books of business, develop leads, and create a working process that integrates seamlessly with existing staff and client service workflows
- Lead regional new business development efforts in the UHNW, family office, and entertainment segments, working in close partnership with Personal Lines producers and practice leaders across the Pacific Region
- Collaborate with Commercial Lines, RPW, and Employee Benefits leadership on cross-sell opportunities within shared family office, UHNW, and entertainment client relationships across the Pacific Region
- Support and enable Personal Lines producers through market intelligence, COI introductions, and strategic guidance on high-value opportunities; participate in key client meetings and prospect engagements as a senior subject matter authority
- Champion specialty lines growth within the entertainment and UHNW client base; support HUB Marine Pacific Region strategy and drive cyber adoption through family office and entertainment relationships in partnership with the Tokio Marine solution
- Develop and cultivate a Next-Generation Client Pipeline - identify wealth transfer opportunities within existing UHNW relationships, engage clients 65+ whose estates represent multi-generational transition, and build pathways to under-40 affluent prospects through digital outreach and educational engagement
- Serve as a subject matter authority for HUB Personal Lines in the UHNW, family office, and entertainment space at industry conferences, producer events, and strategic client engagements across the Pacific Region
Sales Leadership & California Executive Management Team Participation
- Participate as a member of the California Executive Management Team, contributing to statewide strategy, culture, and business planning across lines of business
- Represent the Pacific Region growth agenda within the EMT, bringing market intelligence, client insights, and strategic recommendations to the leadership body
- Engage with the CNC Executive Committee in a strategic advisory capacity, providing regional perspective and supporting Pacific Region initiatives
- Engage with producers, practice leaders, and sales teams across California, Washington, and Oregon through regional gatherings and strategic events to build regional identity, share market intelligence, and align on growth priorities
- Partner with the Personal Lines President in driving revenue growth, carrier relationships, and regional brand presence across HUB's Pacific footprint; contribute to the development and execution of a structured Pacific Region producer and sales engagement strategy
