OverviewAs the Senior Vice President, National Video Investment you'll bring your extensive media buying expertise to our team and play a key role in providing strategic leadership for our client. You'll be responsible for nurturing strong client relationships and providing thought leadership on audience strategies and campaign optimization. The SVP builds strong relationships and establishes clear lines of communication with agency partners.
We're seeking a candidate with marketplace credibility and the ability to confidently engage with senior marketing and media professionals. You'll forge unique, first-to-market opportunities, extend partnerships beyond traditional pricing/trading, and deliver holistic, channel-agnostic solutions.
Responsibilities- Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with media vendors and platforms to ensure trust and confidence with our buying partners
- Drive upfront negotiations and steer and support client collaborators throughout the process
- Negotiate deals that include data partnerships and custom opportunities tailored to the client's needs
- Integrate diverse channels into a cohesive strategy for maximized reach and ROI
- Anticipate market shifts and proactively recommend next-generation solutions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver data-driven, future-forward partnerships
- Convey complex investment strategies to day-to-day contacts as well as executive-level decision-makers
- Maintain a strong understanding of the systems used such as Mediaocean/Prisma or other digital buying tools, Ad Servers/Verification, DSPs, Social Platforms, DMPs, and internal proprietary tools
- Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple internal teams and external teams
- ensuring transparency, clarity, and alignment.
- Accountability and ownership of campaign execution for assigned client accounts
- Own the development of strategic proposals, coordinating across teams to account for all relevant inputs
- Understand and effectively communicate value proposition, technology, and processes related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts
- Develop processes to ensure data integrity and implement across the agency
- Determine and activate how to deliver necessary data to teams for various reporting purposes
- Provide clear communication on business initiatives, ensure proper training on tools and processes, and participate in talent recruitment and development efforts
- Co-manage and mentor teams with varying levels of experience, ensuring high-quality results and professional growth
Qualifications- 15+ years of media buying experience in the video eco-system (linear TV, FEP, VOD, OTT, Mobile, Connected TV, Addressable)
- Experience leading strategic oversight and execution of multi-brand video investment initiatives for a portfolio client, ensuring cohesive activation and alignment with overarching brand and media objectives.
- 8+ years of experience leading teams and direct reports
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead team to deliver high-quality results
- Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Technical proficiency, particularly with the following tools: MediaOcean, MBOX, Nielsen Net Rating, comScore, AdRelevance, eMarketer, Forrester, etc.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work successfully with teams, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines

Compensation Range: USD $180,215.00 - USD $299,637.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
