FleishmanHillard has an immediate opening for a Senior Vice President to join our TRUE Global Intelligence (TGI) practice sitting in one of our core offices in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C. FleishmanHillard's TRUE Global Intelligence practice serves as a strategic consultancy to the broader organization by harnessing research and data-driven insights to achieve client business objectives. Our work within TGI integrates measurement, primary research and secondary research methods with AI integrations, advanced data analytics and strategic consulting.

The Senior Vice President must have demonstrable healthcare expertise, even if they have worked across other industries. Must have a deep understanding of key trends in the healthcare landscape, therapeutic areas, business models, and regulatory environment. They must have a healthcare client perspective - understand what healthcare clients care about and how to position research and analytics as strategic to their business; speak the healthcare language and understand client pressures.

The core focus of this role is to grow TGI's footprint among the firm's healthcare and life sciences (H&LS) clients. They're skilled at diagnosis: understanding what the client needs and how TGI can help solve it. They see expansion opportunities within existing relationships - different business units, therapeutic areas, service lines, geographic expansion, etc. They build deep, trust-based relationships with teams and clients. They see the big picture, how particular projects fit into overall client strategy, how research fits into the firm's offering, how partnership creates organizational success.

In this role we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about leading teams to produce impactful insights, leverage cutting edge methodologies and thrives in interactions with partner agency teams and clients.

Responsibilities: Business Development and Client Management
Actively engage in business development to identify, prioritize and amplify opportunities across accounts and the best ways TGI can support their needs.
Engage directly with clients and provide strategic counsel throughout all stages of the process and deliver exceptional research that meets the clients' business needs and solve specific client business problems.
Establish trust, respect and credibility as a leader and business partner to account teams, intelligence team, cross-functional teams, partner agencies and clients. Serve as key liaison to H&LS leadership stakeholders.
Bring new ideas into practice and help develop them for commercialization and the benefit of both the client and team.
Responsible for revenue growth and profitability of client accounts to meet firm's financial goals. Accountable for the quality of P&L management and the alignment between local and global strategy.
Participate in internal and external new business pitches and proposals in partnership with FH New Business team.
Monitor and forecast business performance and the costs and resources in partnership with the Finance team.
Account/Research Oversight
Take a consultative approach to designing, selling and executing using appropriate methodologies and tools to meet clients' needs. Direct the pricing of projects to provide value to clients while meeting the firm's financial goals.
Collaborate with FH colleagues to bring quality research to our client engagements and deliver outstanding insights that that provide high-quality results for the client.
Work with the intelligence team to ensure highest standards, strong methodologies and quality outputs of the work across a range of methods and approaches.
Engage stakeholders as a strategic consultant and ask the right questions, understand the business objectives, and ultimately help to scope the research that will have the most impact.
Ensure that insights, research and intelligence are an integral part of our client counsel and programming which includes integrating our offerings and developing a strong cohesive team.
Ensure that the analysis and interpretation of data creates a compelling story that meets client objectives.
Talent Development
Manage and lead a geographically dispersed team of researchers who focus on healthcare and life sciences clients, build teams to scale to client needs, adapt to changing needs and resource client work effectively.
Provide guidance to teams and partners on project feasibility, timing, staffing, and alternatives. Work with account leadership on staffing and managing team priorities.
Drive culture alignment with FH and TGI principles and values, identifying top talent and mentoring staff with an emphasis on collaboration, quality output and career development.
Qualifications
Ability to join us in a hybrid model of working in-person in the office weekly.
15+ years of professional experience in market research, marketing, insights, analytics, strategy development, or consultation in a research firm, consulting or agency environment. Previous experience in a client-service capacity is preferred.
Excellent team leadership skills, commitment to team member learning and career development.
Able to build strong working relationships with clients, team members and stakeholders.
Track record of building successful relationships across organizations to promote the impact and value of research, analytics and insights.
Demonstrable success growing revenue and expanding client relationships.
Proven analytical and deductive reasoning skills; able to translate findings into actionable insights, ability to interact with all levels using both technical and non-technical verbiage, great at presenting findings to a diverse audience.
Experience with various types of research engagements including: corporate reputation, highly curated media monitoring, thought leadership, measurement and optimization and brand positioning, AI integrations.
Strategic thinker who understands marketing strategy and how to use research methods and analysis to deliver actionable findings for clients.
Strong leader with experience managing large internal cross-practice, cross-functional teams (including research, planning, creative, programming and analytics), as well as experience working across and leading integrated agency planning teams.
A broad understanding of core and emerging analytics methods and approaches as well as statistical techniques and how they can be deployed to drive value.
A leader who is energized by experimentation, comfortable with ambiguity in emerging technology landscapes, and committed to building a research function that honors the foundations of rigorous research while embracing its technological future.

The anticipated salary range for this position at the Senior Vice President level is $110,000-$225,000.

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.$110,000-$225,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
