The Senior Vice President, Group Account Director is a strategic business leader responsible for driving client success, business growth, and team performance across a portfolio of healthcare brands. This individual serves as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, leads integrated teams, and ensures the delivery of innovative, insight-driven solutions that achieve business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings deep oncology expertise, significant healthcare agency experience, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to lead complex client relationships while developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Client & Business Leadership
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, helping shape brand, business, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of therapeutic areas, market dynamics, competitive activity, and emerging healthcare trends.
  • Lead integrated teams to deliver innovative, insight-driven solutions that drive client success and business growth.
  • Build and strengthen senior client relationships while proactively identifying opportunities for organic growth, expanded scope, and portfolio growth.
  • Contribute to new business efforts, including opportunity identification, pitch development, and presentations.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of account management experience within healthcare advertising, including substantial healthcare agency experience leading pharmaceutical clients and integrated account teams
  • Deep oncology experience required, including leadership of oncology brands and a strong understanding of the oncology treatment landscape and stakeholder ecosystem
  • Experience leading integrated omnichannel engagements across both HCP and Consumer audiences
  • Proven success leading large, complex pharmaceutical client relationships, business portfolios, and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Strong business, financial, and operational acumen, including forecasting, staffing, budgeting, and profitability management
  • Track record of driving organic growth and contributing to new business success
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace, healthcare customer engagement, and evolving industry trends

Compensation Range: USD $180,215.00 - USD $299,637.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
