Position Summary
  • AML Officer for BNY's Bank Custody Solutions business and FCC Advisor to BNY Wealth (BNY Mellon N.A.)
  • Works as a senior member of BNY's FCC Advisory Team that supports Wealth, Broker-Dealers, Markets and Investments related platforms, legal entities, and businesses.
  • Plays a critical role within the Risk & Regulatory Compliance function and the Compliance & Control job family
  • Helps ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations
  • Aligns with BNY's strategic focus on trust, integrity, accountability, and transparency
  • Requires a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements compliance policies and procedures using extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Helps business units address complex regulatory and policy requirements
  • Leads assigned businesses in developing procedures for current and upcoming requirements
  • Maintains relationships with regulators and senior business leaders
  • Monitors and interprets regulatory changes and advises senior management on implications and policy adjustments

Education/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 10-12 years of total work experience preferred
  • Experience with financial crimes compliance, financial services compliance, assigned products/services/business lines, and relevant laws and regulations preferred

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
