Partnering with the EVP's of Product, Commercialization and Operations, the SVP will utilize resources to identify and attract new clients, build brand awareness in the targeted Provider market, and drive growth across all core offerings in our Ambulatory business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and lead the maturation of the Sales & Account Management teams for the Ambulatory BU.
  • Formulate long-term growth strategies in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Manage outward client-facing relationships and grow the client portfolio.
  • Direct all portfolio sales and new business growth with hands-on engagement throughout the BD life cycle.
  • Deliver outstanding customer experience, regular and accurate forecasts, and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Create strategic go-to-market plans to successfully compete with the largest players in the healthcare provider technology space.
  • Maintain strong reporting, accountability, and quota execution while developing incentive tools.
  • Collaborate across the organization as an exceptional leader and change agent.

Pivotal Experience & Expertise:

  • Enterprise Sales Leadership: Proven success leading software or technology services sales organizations at scale, including net-new logo and account management teams.
  • Healthcare Provider Sector Experience: Comprehensive understanding of the Healthcare Provider Ambulatory space, market trends, sales cycles, and how to leverage software, data, technology services, and AI/automation to solve complex business challenges.
  • Growth Driver: Experience leading a complex GTM portfolio through significant growth, balancing near- and long-term priorities.
  • Operational Excellence: Experience implementing complex strategies and data-driven sales operations improvements (enablement, hiring, productivity).
  • Team Leadership: Exceptional leadership capabilities with a player-coach mentality, able to pivot between strategy and hands-on execution.

Leadership Capabilities:

  • Put Customers First (shape needs, create value, build deep relationships)
  • Shape Strategy (anticipate market changes, decide strategic priorities)
  • Inspire & Influence (engage, energize, and lead through influence)
  • Build Talent & Teams (develop talent and strengthen capability)
  • Drive for Results (drive execution and continuously improve the core)
  • Disrupt, Challenge & Lead Innovation (generate change, experiment, and collaborate across boundaries)

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • 12-18+ years of enterprise healthcare sales or strategic partnerships experience, with a clear trajectory of increasing deal complexity and scope.
  • 5-7 years of experience in leading sales teams and organizations.
  • Demonstrated success creating demand from scratch within health systems or similarly complex clinician organizations especially in situations without defined budgets or active buying cycles.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-threaded, C-suite level engagements, navigating competing priorities across clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders.
  • Track record of closing large, complex deals that required shaping the problem, building consensus, and sustaining momentum over long sales cycles.
  • History of originating and building new markets or territories, not just managing mature pipelines.
  • Experience structuring creative, non-standard commercial models (phased adoption, shared risk, enterprise agreements).
  • Exposure to health system economics, with the ability to connect operational change to financial outcomes.

Education:

  • Undergraduate or Master's degree
  • MBA or MHA is preferred.
