Position: Senior UX Designer
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Assesses gaps between business expectations and user experience strategies. Analyzes and interprets existing data (e.g., web analytics and user surveys). Designs and develops prototypes and technical proofs of concept using a range of technologies. Builds and maintains customer relations to understand customer requirements and problems. Influences the team and stakeholders to take meaningful action with sound recommendations. Consults regularly with business unit leaders and advises on business strategy decisions.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Web Design, UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related area and 1 year of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Web Design, UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Product Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, or related area and 3 years of experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
Skills Required: Experience with data analysis, including the analysis of quantitative survey data, and qualitative data to identify user needs and pain points. Experience with design creation, including the development of user journeys, information architecture, sitemaps, user flows, and wireframes. Experience utilizing a design system approach to ensure consistent and accessible interfaces across various platforms. Experience conducting competitor and landscape analysis to gather product insights on common usability patterns. Experience with prototyping and design assets. Experience creating low to high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and animations using Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lottie. Experience with validation and feedback analysis, including conducting user interviews, usability tests, surveys, and analyzing feedback to iterate and refine designs. Employer will accept any amount of graduate coursework, graduate research experience or professional experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $120,598/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
