Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience with industry-standard design and prototyping tools, including Figma.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.

As a Senior UX Designer on the Trust UX team, you will design durable, cross-Google solutions that empower users to make meaningful and informed choices about their data. The team collaborates with various product areas, including Search, YouTube, and Gemini, to scale consent, transparency, controls, and age-assurance experiences. In this role, you will lead high-impact design projects from ideation to launch, navigating complex technical, legal, and regulatory landscapes. You will define design strategies, craft compelling narratives, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to build user trust.

Responsibilities
  • Lead user experience design for high-impact projects within the Trust portfolio, from ideation to launch and landing.
  • Define and articulate a clear idea for the user experience, creating narratives and using visual storytelling to communicate design strategies to stakeholders.
  • Create a wide range of design artifacts, including briefs, wireframes, user flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, and presentations to effectively address user needs.
  • Collaborate closely with key partners including product managers, engineers, writers, and researchers to identify user needs, define product requirements, and deliver design solutions.
  • Act as a key player in strategic product and design planning, leveraging AI to enhance UX capabilities and mentoring other designers.
