POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking a candidate who is looking for a growth opportunity in the E&S marketplace. The ideal candidate will have strong in-person marketing skills, experience in Construction, Real Estate, or Manufacutring underwriting and established relationships within the E&S market (open to primary retail backgrounds as well). This will be a hybrid position in LA, San Fran, Denver, or Scottsdale (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES- Underwrite technical risks across diverse industries and multiple product lines, including Primary, Umbrella, and Excess, in accordance with Arch Insurance standards and sound underwriting practices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with wholesale brokers, policyholders, and industry groups, including through travel and client entertainment.
- Represent Arch in the regional marketplace by participating in industry events and initiatives to promote the brand and enhance the Business Unit's reputation.
- Operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment, focused on building a profitable book of business.
- Travel regularly to broker locations to strengthen producer relationships and drive business growth.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of P&C production underwriting experience, with existing relationships in the wholesale E&S or retail primary marketplace

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$85,000 - $130,000/year
- Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
