This position reports to:Turbine Controls Ops Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

This role is contributing to the AUEN Turbine Controls in USA. Main stakeholders are Turbine Controls Operations Manager.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Commissioning activities related to assigned Turbine Control projects.
- Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
- Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.
- Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
- Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications for the role - Bachelors Degree in Engineering discipline
- 10+ years of experience in turbine controls with focus on turbine commissioning projects
- Hands on experience of executing a variety of rotary equipment projects, focusing mainly on centrifugal type process compressors & compressor drives (Gas Turbines)
- Hands on experience on 7EA, 7FA, 9FA,6B & 6FA Heavy Duty Gas Turbines
- Deep understanding on thermodynamics & statistical approach of sensor interaction to propose new ideas and improve the Gas Turbine Product portfolio.
- Knowledge of structural and functional architecture of control systems & process knowledge to predict performance degradation, abnormality of operations, Operation point shift from design.
- Executed projects with turbine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) control systems with major focus on SGT-600, Solar Gas Turbine & GE LM series machine
- Knowledge of control philosophy for Oil, Gas & chemical plants. Knowledge of the field instrumentation (sensors, transducers, drives related to Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level etc.)
- Knowledge of ABB DCS (Symphony Plus/Harmony/Melody)
- Knowledge of network engineering and IT developments (PC handling, Windows applications, PC configurations, virus scanners, interfaces, backup)
- Knowledge of windows operating system
- Excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills to provide alternative solutions
- Must have valid US work authorization
