You will collaborate across Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Risk, Data, and Sustainability teams to ensure accurate trade capture, financial reporting, portfolio monitoring, and risk management, while driving process improvements that strengthen investment operations and support organizational objectives. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented treasury professional with strong investment knowledge, data analysis capabilities, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.

This is a full-time, permanent role based at our Vancouver head office or remotely within Ontario and will report directly to the Treasury Portfolio Manager. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement for employees based in the Greater Vancouver Area, candidates located in Ontario may work remotely and will be expected to travel occasionally for business needs.

  • Supporting portfolio performance attribution and post-trade reviews to assess investment effectiveness and risk positioning

  • Administering investment monitoring activities and providing analysis to support leadership, management committees, and regulatory requirements

  • Performing daily and periodic reporting on investment positions, portfolio performance, and risk metrics including interest rate and spread risk

  • Conducting stress testing and downside scenario analysis to evaluate portfolio resilience under changing market conditions

  • Providing investment insights and analytics that support capital allocation, business planning, product strategy, and ESG initiatives

  • Leading enhancements to investment systems, reporting processes, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness

  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to strengthen investment operations and integrate evolving risk and sustainability considerations into decision-making

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, investment management, capital markets, asset-liability management, or a related financial services environment

  • Strong understanding of fixed income investments, portfolio management principles, financial markets, and investment risk management

  • Experience supporting investment portfolios, trade execution processes, and portfolio performance analysis

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling, reporting, and data analysis

  • Experience preparing and communicating investment performance, risk, and portfolio insights to diverse stakeholder groups

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting concepts, and investment operations

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical financial information into actionable insights for decision-makers

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

  • CFA, FRM, CPA, CSC, CIM, or other relevant treasury or investment-related designation

  • Experience with treasury management systems, portfolio management platforms, or financial analytics tools

  • Knowledge of ESG investing principles, regulatory requirements, or risk analytics within a financial institution

You'll Thrive Here If You Are:

  • Analytical Thinker - Able to assess complex financial information and generate meaningful investment insights

  • Detail-Oriented - Focused on accuracy in trade execution, reporting, reconciliation, and risk monitoring

  • Collaborative Partner - Builds strong relationships across Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Risk, and business teams

  • Continuous Improver - Proactively identifies opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and operational effectiveness

  • Strategic Contributor - Connects market insights and portfolio analysis to broader organizational objectives

We value lived experience, so if you are interested in this role, we encourage you to apply even if you feel your skills don't perfectly align with those listed.
