ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Treasury Associate assists with Corporate Treasury processes and operations, including working capital programs, finance leasing operations, cash and debt forecasting, interest rate income and expense forecasting, accounting reconciliations and journal entries, and providing backup support for other Treasury processes and personnel. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of treasury operations and financial forecasting, a proven ability to tackle complex financial challenges, and experience modernizing and optimizing treasury processes. The Treasurer and the Executive Finance team are based in Reston, VA. This position can be remote.
Primary Functions:
- Lead the daily and weekly sales activities for the receivable purchase program and prepare the associated monthly and quarterly journal entries.
- Support the corporate leasing program, including the collaboration among external leasing partners and internal stakeholders in procurement, accounting, FP&A and business sectors.
- Assist with the interest, debt, leasing and cash flow forecast processes.
- Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations and journal entry reviews of treasury-related accounts, including interest expense/income and lease obligations.
- Assist with managing the interest rate risk management program, including recommending hedging strategies and interest rate derivatives.
- Compile performance metrics and analytics to support decision making in various forecasting and planning activities.
- Support and back-up daily cash, cash forecasting and banking processes.
- Develop cross-functional collaboration with internal departments (program finance, procurement, accounting, FP&A) and external parties (banks, lessors) to ensure alignment with business activities.
- Backup and support other treasury processes and ad hoc analyses as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS with 5+ years of finance experience with at least 3 years treasury experience
- CTP or CFA designation or candidacy is a plus
- Experience with receivables purchase programs or asset-based lending is a plus
- Experience at a private equity backed company is a plus
- Microsoft office suite
- Knowledge of banking principles and processes
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Highly driven, self-motivated with strong attention to detail and record keeping
- Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals across the organization
- Solid interpersonal skills

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
