Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or California Transportation Engineer (TE) certification, or ability to obtain within six months.
• 8+ years of multimodal transportation project experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary design and planning projects delivered on time and on budget.
• Established networks in the California transportation sector, including relationships with Caltrans and local municipalities.
• Experience in presenting projects to diverse audiences.
• Proven skills in client relationship management and business development.
• Fluency or working knowledge of Spanish is advantageous.

• Develop Active Transportation Plans and Safe Routes to School projects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams from concept to implementation.
• Mentor junior staff and promote their professional growth.

• Create practical solutions to enhance safety and mobility for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users.
• Engage in coordination with planners, engineers, urban designers, and landscape architects.
