Responsibilities as the Senior Operations Supervisor - Transport CDL will be: • Lead, supervise, and develop transportation and distribution team members, providing coaching, training, performance management, and ongoing support to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. • Oversee daily transportation operations, including driver scheduling, fleet utilization, route planning, and equipment assignments, ensuring efficient and timely service to internal and external customers. • Ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company regulations by maintaining driver qualification files, vehicle records, safety documentation, certifications, and required training programs. • Manage fleet maintenance and asset performance by coordinating inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, registrations, permits, and replacement planning to maximize reliability and operational readiness. • Direct warehouse and distribution activities, including receiving, staging, inventory movement, and deliveries, while monitoring performance metrics, investigating incidents, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous operational improvement.
