SENIOR TRAINING SPECIALIST (INSURANCE)WHAT YOU'LL DO:This role is responsible for developing , implementing, and delivering blended learning solutions to meet the training needs of our insurance team. Combining deep expertise in Property & Casualty insurance with a balance technical knowledge and training excellence, this role is critical to supporting operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop, design, and implement department training curriculum.
- Deliver new hire and ongoing training programs to employees.
- Collaborate with employees to assess training needs for new initiatives.
- Work in tandem with department leaders to ascertain new training components for new product launches.
- Assess quality of training by using data and metrics to determine ROI on training programs.
- Develop and implement process improvements and efficiencies for training.
- Perform gap analysis for departmental training needs.
- Oversee desk audits of employee practices and procedures, and collaborate with leaders to determine training resources necessary to support improvement endeavors.
- Collaborate with leadership to review and test new product, system, and procedure implementation.
- Serve as a coach and mentor to training specialists in the department.
- Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.
- Incorporates AAA's vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA's vision mission and values.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree (BA) in business or similar field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' training experience in insurance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Possess knowledge of relevant industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.
- 3+ years of experience working in industry technology, desktop publishing, or eLearning platforms
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:- Active Washington State Property & Casualty and Life & Disability insurance license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:- Technical aptitude in systems and process improvement.
- Skill in working as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, establishing rapport, and gaining the trust of others.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, including effective use of listening skills.
- Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict, relate positively to people in stressful situations, and remain calm under pressure.

SALARY:- Pay range: $$80,168.40-$90,372

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time. This position will require occasionally moving about inside the office to access equipment, cabinets, etc. May work around office equipment which could be noisy, such as copiers and fax machines.
OTHER:- Equipment used: Laptop, mobile phone, various virtual technologies and programs, other office equipment.
- Travel: Frequent travel (25-50%) may be required.
