Prime Video Content and Partner Lifecycle Org is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to own and drive delivery for high-impact programs in the core content platform to help users worldwide to enjoy live events, movies and TV shows on mobile devices, living room devices, and the web.
The Senior TPM role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, strong technical expertise, the ability to partner effectively across teams within and outside of Amazon, and the ability to manage high-impact projects. As a member of the team, you'll need to have the ability to understand the fundamentals of content supply chain and what it takes to launch large scale content and media publishing services and features that involve multiple teams within Prime Video. You will help evolve our architecture with your background in distributed cloud computing while innovating on content publishing engineering and science. You will drive future technical solutions that will impact how we run Prime Video worldwide. You will also need to frequently engage business, product, and technology leaders and be a strong advocate for our customers. A day in the life
You will own long-running programs to make Prime Video even more reliable for customers. In that capacity, you will directly own goals with visibility throughout (and beyond) Prime Video.
You will own the execution of projects to meet those goals, including communication to senior leadership and stakeholders. You will work with teams across Prime Video and throughout Amazon and AWS to influence organizational roadmaps and strategy.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
