How a Senior Test Engineer Will Make an Impact: As a Senior Test Engineer, you will lead test planning and execution across mission-critical systems. You'll mentor junior engineers, contribute to automation strategies, and drive quality across Agile and DevSecOps teams. You'll serve as a key stakeholder in ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and meet stringent DoD standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Define, lead, and execute comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks for complex DoD systems.
- Mentor junior test engineers and guide best practices in QA methodologies and tools.
- Lead system validation efforts, including performance, load, and security testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, Postman, and JMeter.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Ensure test coverage and traceability through meticulous requirement analysis and documentation.
- Drive Shift-Left testing practices and champion early defect detection.
- Collaborate with developers, system architects, and operations teams to ensure quality at every stage of development.
- Participate in test readiness reviews, audits, and high-visibility demos for stakeholders and leadership.
- Lead efforts for compliance with DoD security frameworks, including STIGs, RMF, and ATO processes.
- Oversee test environment configuration and data management across secure networks.
