Role: Senior Test Automation Engineer (Tricentis Tosca) Location: Washington, DC 20260 Position: 1 Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Tricentis Tosca to lead end-to-end automation initiatives across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, SAP applications, API automation, and CI/CD integration. The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated test suites, improving test coverage, identifying automation opportunities, and collaborating with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Tricentis Tosca • Work extensively with Tosca Modules, TestCases, TBox, and TestData Management • Build and maintain API automated tests for REST and SOAP services • Utilize Tosca API Scan for API automation where applicable • Develop and execute automated tests for SAP modules, including SAP HCM and HCES • Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage • Analyze business and technical requirements and define appropriate test strategies • Identify opportunities to automate manual testing activities and optimize testing efforts • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Work with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab • Ensure automation frameworks follow industry best practices • Develop modular, reusable, maintainable, and reliable automation components • Implement robust test reporting and result tracking • Troubleshoot automation and testing challenges independently • Analyze failures and identify root causes • Provide proactive solutions to improve automation stability and efficiency • Document automation processes, frameworks, and execution procedures • Prepare test reports and communicate results to stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC Required Skills: • 3+ years of recent hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca • Strong expertise in Tosca Modules, TestCases, TBox, and TestData Management • Proven experience automating SAP applications using Tricentis Tosca • Experience with SAP HCM and/or HCES • Strong experience with web application test automation • Experience with API testing and automation for REST and SOAP services • Experience with Tosca API Scan is preferred • Strong understanding of test design techniques • Knowledge of risk-based testing methodologies • Understanding of automation ROI and identifying suitable automation opportunities • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies • Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines • Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and provide proactive solutions Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
