Role Overview:This role is for a Senior Test Automation Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites for various applications. The position involves building robust regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end tests, ensuring high software quality within a CI/CD environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop automated regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end test suites.
- Automate E2E testing using Playwright (JavaScript) against TypeScript/React front ends.
- Perform API/service-level functional testing using pytest (Python) against Python microservices.
- Develop automation using Java and modern testing frameworks.
- Perform API testing for RESTful and microservices-based applications.
- Validate distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with developers to improve testability and software quality.
Required Skills:- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright).
- Programming proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Java.
- Expertise in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) principles and software testing fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Critical thinking and API validation skills.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices.
Qualifications:- 8+ years of experience in Test Automation Development.
