As a Senior Tegra Software Engineer, you'll collaborate with a hardworking group, moving forward innovation in graphics, computing, and AI. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work on innovative projects that compose the future of computing. You will contribute to our powerful developments in GPUs, AI, and self-driving cars. At NVIDIA, your work will have a global reach, pushing the limits of what technology can achieve! What you will be doing: • Develop bare metal firmware, software, and applications for various security use cases and proofs of concept. • Handle and debug all security and system software issues for Tegra SoC. • Work on ROT (Root of Trust) build in the cryptographic security system. • Take an active role in the new silicon lifecycle, from pre-silicon simulation/emulation, test validation to power-on bring up phases. Specify and implement test cases while actively seeking improvements to test automation and software quality. • Collaborate closely with architecture and different software and hardware teams to improve the next generation of NVIDIA System-on-Chips. • Engage with our technology partners on critical discussions to ensure seamless integration and flawless performance. What we need to see: • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of relevant software development experience. • Strong system software engineering skills combined with a drive to tackle hard problems. • Proficiency in programming and debugging in C, C++, and Assembly language. Experience in RUST and Ada/Spark programming language is a plus. • Good understanding of operating system internals, embedded systems, and security software. • A proven great teammate; self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal direction. • Excellent communication skills. Ways to stand out from the crowd: • Experience with GPU and SOC technology, advanced architecture development topics such as Security Enclave, Secure Boot, Root of Trust, Runtime Security services, Confidential Compute, Cryptography, and more. • Demonstrated ability to lead security initiatives and mentor other engineers. • Published research or contributions to the security community. • Understanding of Security SDLC and standards like ISO 26262 Safety, ISO 21434 Security.
