Full Job Description

Basic Function 

As a Senior Technology Product Manager for Wolters Kluwer, you’ll own a critical piece of the Professional Audit workflow, a critical SaaS platform within the CCH Tax & Accounting brand. You won’t just define features; you’ll be responsible for making the product successful.  

  

This role is for someone who moves fast, juggling multiple priorities, and making high-impact decisions with incomplete information. You’ll operate with a strong sense of ownership, combining product judgment, analytical rigor, and business acumen to drive meaningful outcomes. 

 

Essential Duties and responsibilities 

Product Ownership & Strategy  

  • Bring one or more offerings from 0-1 and beyond.  

  • Own the roadmap and priorities for your team’s focus area.  

  • Define what success looks like and drive toward clear business and customer outcomes.  

  • Make fast, thoughtful tradeoffs to balance speed, quality, and long-term leverage.  

 Execution & Delivery  

  • Translate strategy into clear requirements, specs, and success metrics.  

  • Team up with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality features.  

  • Manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities without losing focus on what matters most.  

 Discovery & Decision-Making  

  • Deeply understand product performance through quantitative metrics and qualitative insights.  

  • Partner closely with design and research to deeply understand user problems, test assumptions early, and iterate toward elegant solutions  

  • Identify leading indicators, diagnose issues, and drive data-informed decisions.  

 Business & Cross-Functional Leadership  

  • Bring a strong business mindset to your decisions, understanding how Wolters Kluwer drives growth and revenue.  

  • Partner with Go-To-Market teams to ensure successful outcomes.   

  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and leadership about priorities, tradeoffs, and impact.  

 AI-First Product Development  

  • Identify opportunities where AI can unlock improvements in user experience and efficiency.  

  • Partner with Engineering to ship AI-enabled workflows responsibly and effectively.  

  • Stay curious about emerging AI capabilities and how they can be applied to audit.

Performs other duties assigned by supervisor. 

Job Qualifications 

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience 

Computer Science or Software Engineering Degree preferred. 

 

Experience5+ years of Product Management and/or Founder experience, ideally in an early-stage or fast-scaling startup.  

  • Domain experience in Audit, Tax and/or Accounting preferred  

 

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:  

  • Proven ability to own and scale a B2B product or product area with business impact.  

  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to think like an owner.  

  • Empathy for users and a passion for understanding real-world workflows and pain points.  

  • Deep intuition for the capabilities and limitations of LLMs and AI in general. This can be from hands-on experience with AI-powered tools, previous work experience, or educational coursework. 

Travel requirements 

25% domestic, occasional international

Compensation:

$85,600.00 - $149,400.00 USD

 

This role is eligible for Bonus.

Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position.  Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location. Your recruiter can share more information about the specific offer for the job location during the hiring process.
