The Senior Technology Adoption Specialist supports the execution of enterprise technology adoption initiatives for Workday and UKG, with a focus on change management, communications, user readiness, and enablement. Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Technology Adoption, this role partners with business, technology, product, learning, and communications teams to prepare users and stakeholders for technology changes. The Specialist translates complex system and process changes into clear, actionable communications and readiness activities that support successful adoption. The role also gathers user feedback, monitors adoption indicators, and identifies opportunities to improve the user experience and effectiveness of enterprise technology.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Change Management & Readiness: Support change management and user readiness activities for enterprise technology implementations, releases, enhancements, and process changes. Assess impacts to user groups and business functions and identify readiness needs, risks, and barriers to adoption. Develop and execute practical readiness plans that help users understand, prepare for, and adopt technology changes.
- Communications & Stakeholder Engagement: Develop clear, audience-appropriate communications that translate complex technology and process changes into actionable information. Partner with business, technology, product, learning, and communications teams to coordinate consistent messaging and stakeholder engagement. Facilitate stakeholder discussions and gather feedback to identify concerns, adoption barriers, and opportunities for improvement.
- User Enablement & Adoption: Partner with Learning teams, subject matter experts, and product teams to identify user enablement needs and develop appropriate resources and support. Support digital adoption tools, in-application guidance, performance support, and other approaches that help users successfully adopt enterprise applications. Identify opportunities to simplify the user experience and improve how users interact with enterprise technology.
- Adoption Measurement & Insights: Support the collection and analysis of adoption, engagement, readiness, and user feedback data. Monitor adoption indicators to identify areas requiring additional communication, support, or intervention. Provide insights and recommendations to improve adoption and inform ongoing technology and user experience priorities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve adoption practices, communications, readiness activities, and the overall user experience. Capture lessons learned and apply effective change management and adoption practices across initiatives. Contribute to standards, templates, tools, and processes that enable consistent and scalable technology adoption.
- Enterprise Collaboration: Build effective working relationships with business leaders, product managers, subject matter experts, technical teams, and other stakeholders. Coordinate adoption activities across multiple initiatives and stakeholder groups, ensuring dependencies and risks are identified and addressed. Represent the adoption function on enterprise technology initiatives and contribute expertise in change management, communications, and user readiness.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Strong knowledge of change management, organizational readiness, and technology adoption principles and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technology changes into clear, user-focused messaging.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and collaboration skills across business, technical, product, learning, and communications teams.
- Ability to assess user impacts, identify adoption barriers, and develop practical strategies to support successful technology change.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret adoption data and user feedback.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies, digital adoption platforms, and enterprise technology environments; experience with Prosci ADKAR, CCMP.
Minimum Job Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field required.
- 5 years of experience supporting technology adoption, change management, communications, organizational readiness, training, or enablement initiatives required.
- Experience supporting adoption for enterprise SaaS platforms such as ERP, EHR or workforce management systems preferred.
- Experience with Digital Adoption Platforms preferred.
- Experience using analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools to measure and improve user engagement with enterprise systems preferred.
License/Certification/Registration Required:Supervisory Responsibilities:Patient Contact:The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate's relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
